A few years back we were invited to pitch on an advertising campaign for a UK broadband network. The brief was to design a world of monsters that represented common customers annoyances with their broadband service, their niggles and narks. Needless to say we love designing monsters and determined to win the job pulled together a small team of artists that helped us with our vision and direction for the project.
Winning and losing the pitch has been part and parcel of our commercial careers for over 10 years. It is what keeps us on our toes and gives us our eternal youth. On this occasion we were unsuccessful, losing out to the wonderfully talented FX house The Mill and their directors McBess and Simon. Below is our final pitch as we presented it.
