For Oglivy & Mather and Faber Castell

CDS was requested to be part of an 'event' of sorts on 31st Mar 2012. The objective: to treat unsuspecting (and those in the know) Singaporeans at The Cathay to an anime-nized version of themselves. And to wow them with the power of traditional art.

It was a tiring experience for everyone but it was fun and fulfilling in the end. Luckily, it was a one day event only. ^_^"'
These are the comic templates that we created to act as a simple storyboard leading to the 'protagonist'. Or the personal been drawn within the photobooth.

Each comic template was handled by a different artist and you can see the personalities and preferences of each of them here.
Some examples of live sketches we did after we closed the booth. Gotta prove to ourselves that with more time, we can draw very cool stuffs!
One final comic for the win!
The final masterpiece. The video that Oglivy&Mather took for Faber Castell.

The project wasfinally short-listed for Best Temporary In-Store Displays in a Promotional Campaign over at Cannes Lions Award 2012. 'Cannes Finalist Activation and Outdoors' according to Jatinder Sandhu.
Account management: KC Ng
Participating Artists (CDS): Xeph Tham, Jeremiah Boon, Ricky Li, Low Zi Rong, Angela Tan and Shirley Tan
