Ko-Klee-Ko is a young and upcoming fashion label based in Cape Town. With an already flourishing line the fashion designer needed a brand. The name “ko-klee-ko” was inspired by the designers 100% organic clothing range named “Coquelicot” - another name for a poppy flower. Every element of the corporate identity grew from this idea, the poppy flower: organic, feminine, natural, young, simple yet spirited. The calligraphic writing placed onto a holding shape as the logo was drawn from looking at wine labels, giving the brand a classical flair. It was so easy to create a beautiful brand with value as all that needed to be done was translate the talented designers vision into tangible colour and shape.
