The Future of Energy
Broadsheet spread about Germany's future mix in energy production
Germany‘s energy market faces a revolutionary turn towards renewable energy. Siemens is one of the leading companies pushing this shift forward with several product novelties and concepts. This reorganization of the energy infrastructure is communicated by Siemens embraced by the term „Energy Puzzle“. Our task was to inform about this impacting change with a double page rich of information about the energy mix solutions provided by Siemens.

The main focus of the double page is set on the centre showing all required energy-pieces you need to drive the change. It includes all nine parts of the Siemens-puzzle and shows a fictive scenario of the future of energy. Each of the nine parts is linked with an icon that refers to the peripheral graphics which surround the central piece and offer further insights.
A clear scribble as the project‘s fundament gets planed initially. An efficient teamwork would get even harder without this basic step.
All peripheral graphics use a reduced graphic style to keep a well balanced arrangement with the strong 3D element in the centre. For all of these additional information we decided for a mixture of figurative comparisons and visual representations of numbers and rates, which would best fit to the individual content in the end.

With passion for details, this map is an in-house graphic for Siemens as an overview for all innovative energy projects located in Germany.
