The aims of the four illustrations are to highlight some of the more significant issues surrounding the impacts of human activity to this planet. Their purpose is not to either alter the opinion of others nor are they there to provide evidence.
- Organic ‘humans greatest creations are all natural’
Everything in the world is effectively natural because it all comes from the same place, you can’t make anything without the substances to do so, it’s just how ‘we’ humans have used the materials around us to combine wonderful creations, some causing startling consequences.
- Benefits ‘impacts towards other organisms on this planet’
We humans all benefit greatly from the creations we make, which allow us to progress and succeed in everyday life. Our experiments we perform on the creatures around us play important roles to help find causes and cures. Yet do we take note of the effects these have, not only on ourselves, but the world around us.
- Development ‘to be able to provide is to also sacrifice’
Not only is it our own living standards and the organisms around us that we have a drastic impact on, it’s also the future generations that will eventually see the impacts that we have induced onto the world.
- Freedom ‘everyone and everything has their right to life’
When we take into account that we all have a right to life, known as the Human Rights Act, do we consider the other creatures and organisms that surround us, which also have this same right. Eventually this right to life could one day result in us outgrowing ourselves.
