' from dawn to dusk : a collection of drawings , poetry & lyrics ’
. . . . . . .
The drawings here illustrate the process from dawn to dusk, where the time of day is reflected in a photograph on one hand and in a geometric depiction on the other. As an initial experiment, the purpose was to express a story within such limitations of objective universality as well as to engage in the possibilities of a variety of shapes emerging from one simple grid. In this work, I question whether such principles can be utilized beyond the structured format of the grid, and leaning towards a visual aesthetic that can trigger thought as well as make such timeless honored truths as unity, beauty and harmony, visible.
