This project investigated the possibilities of architecture as a dynamic system, and the potential of aprosthetic surface that affects space – a surface formation that acts as anoperative third skin. The departure point for the studio was the mutualcorrespondence of fashion and architecture, as both professions sharestrategies and techniques of production. Addressing architecture as a latent, ephemeral, dynamic entity: strategies ofa body space skin were developed that enabled paradigms of a responsive, experiential andemergent architecture.
