  • ••• dotdotdot has three main parts: your dashboard, your library and your reading memory. You can navigate between those three parts simply by swiping.
  • The dashboard shows the user his reading and social stats, like the pages he has read or the number of followers. Below the user has two timelines showing the activities of all users in the global timeline, and the activities of the users he follows in his personal timeline.
  • ••• dotdotdot has two different views for the users library: one for letting the user browse through his eBooks in gridbased cover-view and one view as a list.
  • The user switches between the two views via icons in the upper left corner.
  • In the list-view library the user can connect to his import sources like Dropbox, Google Reader or the ••• dotdotdot Curated List.
  • Importing eBooks is simple: dotdotdot shows the user his Dropbox with all it's folderstructure.
  • eBooks can be imported simply by drag and drop to every list the user created.
  • The Curated List let's readers explore great long-format texts.
  • The third main part of ••• dotdotdot is the "Memory" part. The user can search for his highlights and comments he made within his texts, can work with his tags and see what highlights and comments he recently added during his last reading sessions.
  • The heart of ••• dotdotdot is the text-reader. Highlight, comment and tag text passages to never loose an quote or thought again. See the highlights and comments of users you follow directly in the text.
  • The overview-view let's the user see what the most interesting and discussed parts of a text are.
  • Ipad onboarding: The first time you enter the app, an onboarding process guides you through the basic features of the app.
  • iPhone App:

  • Browser Web-App.
The heart of our web-app is a plug-in for Chrome, Firefox, IE and Safari that let's you import and/or read all your webtexts distraction free. The web-app itself is structured in the same three parts as the iPad app: Dashboard, Library and Memory.
