This is my Calligraphy dailies.
With this project I was exploring the skillIs of hand lettering during the Fall_2012. I was working on a lot of different styles: from classic to contemporary letterforms.
During the Fall I was working on the foundation on which to build professional understanding of letterform by covering the history of letters based on the Western model: the skeleton forms on which all handwritten letters are based. Also I was practicing a lot of historical exemplars, tools and materials.
By the end of the Fall (by working on this projects) I got a good idea of how letters came into being and evolved over time. By doing this projects I noticed how letterforms surround each of us in our daily lives, and learned how to construct and write using the major hands.
