Being part of a creative team at VBAT we came up with a lot of new and inspiring ideas for the Amstel Premium Pilsener brand. A new logo was developed and a striking new illustration was created.Going through all the old archives in the city of Amsterdam. Also the Heineken archive gave a lot of new ideas to design for this project. The new profile bottle is a more traditional design but stands for the true quality that this brand has to offer. It was a great project to work on. Thanks to my design colleague Leo van Noppen who created a stunning illustration. We collected some old material from the archives and came up with a great new iconic image for the label design. Also the new (amstel) logo is a nice "clean" version for the Pilsener design. Have a look at a couple of conceptual ideas that i created and this all lead to the final design.
