The brief was to redesign the existing website of Zual Bar. My concept came from the word “party animal” and how it describes people when they’re in their element dancing and giving their soul to the music.
I redesigned the logo creating a crescent moon shape symbolising the change of persona at night. Each page has a new sidebar image which is an animal almost coming out of a human soulfully.
Each animal represents a different genre of music that is played at Zula Bar. My target market are the ages of 18-25; Mostly students as well as working, young adults who have a good time and enjoy people, music and in general going out to have fun.
We were also told to create vehicles for Zula to encourage people to visit the site as well as the bar.
The timeline for attracting people from the vehicles will run from about a month. I designed two promotional vehicles. The one is a doppelganger inspired activity that people can access on the site. The idea is to upload an image of yourself for it to be scanned to be matched with a specific 'party animal.' Once your match is found, it will give the animal, the genre of music and a list of artists within the genre with the dates of their performance at the bar.
My second vehicle are vinyl cut stickers of each animal face stuck on public bathroom mirrors. The idea is that when one washes their hands, their face is reflected onto the sticker representing the inner party animal that will come out at Zula.
