Interaction Design for a Facebook Game
I 2010 I worked to help define, streamline and simplify interactions for a Facebook game based on players raising plants and animals.
This project was one of my first
opportunities to work on a casual game with a “freemium” business model
and the project expanded my knowledge of the space considerably. I
helped the team simplify the tutorial and user flows for common tasks
while allowing for in-app purchase opportunities as well as refining the game
story & premise.
My focus in creating these wireframes was to define the experience in a sketchy, loose way to encourage feedback while the interface was still being designed. I created several flows to illustrate player onboarding and other specific gameplay segments.
