ZocDoc.com hired me in the summer of 2011 to photograph doctors and their practices for their listings on the website. Research in test markets found that, surprise, those doctors with better and more engaging photographs were getting more appointments through the site. The visual impact of a doctor's listing directly affected their success with the service. ZocDoc took that information and decided to provide a photographer to each doctor with a listing on its service to ensure the greatest success for them.
