For a more affordable – yet still high priced line of cigars – we created the brand Zino Platinum “Scepter Series.” Both Crown Series and Scepter Series were the first continually running cigars marketed to the hip-hop community. For the advertising, we created these kingly “Dawg” portraits which proved extremely successful for Davidoff’s core consumers as well as in hip-hop circles. They were then picked up for use on the cigar tins.
