What
I Made : Inspired by the rolling vineyards of the Rhineland located in
southwest Germany, I created a logo, wine label and accordion book for a
winery in Trier. The packaging puts a modern spin on the company’s
unique history and rich tradition.
Why I Made It : The packaging encompasses both the beauty of the
landscape and the mystery behind the company’s name “Zeller Schwarze
Katz,” which literally translates to “Black Cat from the town of Zell.”
The cat plays a more ominous, abstract role in the system.
