PROGRAM OF STUDY AND CONCEPT
The paper thesis: ZEPPELIN DOCK

After the „golden“ period of popular "Zeppelin" was over (at the end of Second World War) the use of the aircrafs was at the standstill. This changes at the beginning of this century when a new generation of "Zeppelin" have emerged. A new project called Zeppelin NT (New Technology) analyzed and summarized all aspects of modern technology and new materials in order to make modern airship better than its "ancestor". Modern Zeppelin offers stable and uninterrupted flight during bad weather and natural disasters, a simple infrastructure for landing and take-off with that is remote-controlled, almost silent flight, the fuel consumption that is negligible, negligible level of pollution and carbon emissions, and of course flight at low altitudes.
The revival of the old "Zeppelin" cult as a modern mean of transport has happened. In addition to exclusive travel and tour and sightseeing environment, Zeppelin NT can be used in a variety of new situations, such as flying laboratories which would carry out geological, geodetic, biological, meteorological, oceanographic and archeological and other tests, measurements of air pollution, rapid transport of medical and rescue personnel, transfer of bulk cargo: long beams, large containers and prefabricated elements, televised sports events, Formula 1 motor racing, the Olympics, the transportation of perishable goods such as vegetables and exotic fruits..
The goal of this research is to develop a program dock featured with new techniques of guiding spacecraft and robotic docking system for this new breed of multipurpose aircraft (that currently in the world use flat surfaces near the airport to land).
As the possibility of the exploitation of the many aircrafts, the concept of this thesis is placed on the use of Zeppelins as the elite vehicle for international and local flights, sightseeing environment, various studies and measurements, television broadcasting and prestigious advertising space. On Kopaonik, on the southwestern slopes of Vučak, in the area of Mara’s Water ski slopes, a complex will be developed that will contain all the necessary facilities and functions to perform arivals and departures of the passengers, takeoffs, landings, servising and storage of the Zeppelins in the building terminals, hangars, control tower, fire points, administrative block. Because of the low frequency of flights and smaller passenger capacity, the second part of the complex covers winter "slow" time flight with hotel facilities. Hotel with capacity of 199 persons offers exclusive suites, indoor and outdoor pools, a casino, conference facilities for entertainment, restaurants, bars, conference presentations, an amphitheater, and ski trail Mara’s waters within the complex.
The concept of the entire project was to fit artistic expression into the landscape, but do not bother the environment with it’s existence. The attempt is to follow the geo-morphological features of the landscape and the materialisation, so that the buildings and the nature co-exist and complement each other.

PROGRAM I KONCEPT STUDIJE
