Yojiro Imasaka is a young emerging photographer from Japan. Raised in Hiroshima, he has always observed the Atomic Bomb Dome, the only one building left standing after the explosions. The strong contrast between shadow and intense light in his work is from the moment of the explosion of the atomic bomb. A ray of light in the darkness includes the meaning of hope.
STUDIO NEWWORK designed a website to showcase his high contrast black-and-white photography. Our graphic solution was a solid grid structure with the central axis. By placing his work in the center and viewfinder-like grid lines in the center edges of the top, bottom, left and right, the viewers concentrate on his work.
