  • Over the past 18 months, I have been gaining Creative Director experience with Scripps Networks Interactive Home Category (DIY Network and HGTV.) This particular show open was created for DIY Network, with a reach of over 50 million households.  
  • This still shot taken on location in Sacramento, California hints at the original vision for this open in which the metal logo would be mounted on a rock and dropped from the sky by a crane. In case you were wondering, the age-old design adage "without contrast you are dead" is still true today. This particular version of the show open was cut due to readability issues. Still, seeing a metal logo suspended from a crane always ranks in my book.
