I had a pleasure to work with Maciej Grabowski who is one of the most accomplished polish sailors (Laser class gold medal at the European Championships, 23 national champion titles).
We both live in my hometown Gdynia and we worked in past on some previous projects.
He needed small cataloque about his career and sailing as well, which could be given as a gift. My task was to choose and prepare photos, to design whole layout and to set some color and typographic scheme. I also made small simple logo for the title page.

"Yacht Racing" is a 16 pages brochure size of 19x19cm. It's geometric (square) format was inspiration for the rest of the project. It was natural step to choose Futura font for texts and add some simple geometric forms (like circle at the front page or another small square for the quote) to emphasize it geometric roots.

"... it's not even about the fact that nobody did it before me, but two titles in so far different classes as Star class and Laser class (in one year), is a unique success. Although it is my 14th and 15th  Polish Champion title, it gave me more joy than that first one."
