This is my response to a College brief – at Billy Blue College of Design.
My challenge was to identify any issue in society and create awareness through a design driven response.
Sex sells, and the print magazine Is notorious for this controversial stigma. Photo-retouching and image manipulation comes hand in hand with societies high perception of beauty.
What threat does this pose to the next generation of adolescents; growing up in a world where the static profile picture is fundamental in how your close community perceives you.
The outcome was a manifesto embodying the essence of argument; a beautifully feminine façade of purity, concealing the inner imperfections of a greater issue.
