I used this Illustration as an exercise to explore new technics.
Clearly inspired by the vintage tenis players, still Xavier Nabal is a joke based on the world famous and well suceeded player Rafael Nadal.
This illustration was mainly made of vector shapes with some photografic elements, in this case the grass and the tenis balls.
In the end it worked as a flyer aimed to promote an absolutly failed and awkward tenis player with no talent.
All this features aim to provide this characheter an hillarious look.
