This project shows the rough draft scale and massing work I completed on a proposal for Wuhan Planning and Design Institute. From the project brief through rough hand sketch and 3d modeling. This project proved a challenge as there was a need to provide large scale industrial space in combination with a livable mixed use community while keeping an appropriate street scale. This was done by combining the industrial units into perimeter blocks which mirror the commercial and residential blocks in the area.
