The fascination of abandoned, forgotten and neglected places, it is, to me, certainly directly linked to the natural attraction for exploration and (re) discovery.
There are tens of thousands abandoned buildings just in our area (Italy), often whole ghost villages.
This condition, combined with the incessant speculation, should make room for some reflection.
With an uncertain future and the signs of the past, each one has some stories to tell.
They are often whispers, traces of steps and tips hidden in details of forgotten, lost photographs and missed readings.
