This manual is not aimed solely at beginners and advanced students.
The aim of the author is to help the performer to play low-to moderate technical difficulty rhythmic patterns (pattern) in such a way, so keeping the same pattern to vary his style and by extension, the rhythmic sense of diversifying its rhythmic figures contained in it.
The patterns are analyzed as part of a curriculum in which recourse to any drummer to maintain or enrich workmanship. Placing the author is not to present a new method but to contribute through their personal teaching of the light music literature.
The exercises are divided into categories according to the content of an original pattern which constitutes the basis on which to develop variants of rhythmic figures in it. The patterns are sorted in numerical order according to the degree of difficulty.
At this point we draw attention to the performer to give the rhythmic exercises the necessary musicality required so that the result is not only a right but otherwise emotionally sterile rhythmic process but also a full of personal musical phrase.
