- This started as a project for a local singer, Anne Olsen, who goes by the name "Wren." I enjoyed it so much that I decided to make it a series.Wrens are plain brown common birds but with a complex and loud song. The head back, beak open, and legs thrown out wide relate directly to how Anne Olsen thinks of her singing style.
