Updating an old, tired porch
The original wrap-around porch on this house was from the 1920's. Let's just say it needed some updating. The framing had to be completely reinforced/rebuilt. New 5/4 wood decking replaced the old T&G decking. White, fiberglass columns contrast the dark house and add a touch of ornament. Custom cedar railings and lattice work complete the look.
