With a title inspired by Hesiod's poem, written around 700 BC, this series of paintings aims to display different human activities and efforts while mixing influences from two important artistic movements : the Eastern European socialist realism and the western Metaphysical painting (most brilliantly illustrated by painters like De Chirico and Magritte among others) in a synthesis that blurs the lines separating them and leads to a new kind of vision about the human condition in the XXI century.
