Wonderland, Il dietro le quinte

Ci sono favole che si incontrano quando si è solo dei bambini e che durante tutta la vita ci accompagnano, sempre uguali ma allo stesso tempo diversi. Inizialmente il libro «Alice nel paese delle meraviglie», nella sua prima pubblicazione del 1865, venne considerato nient’altro che un’opera di fantasia per bambini, dunque etichettato come letteratura d’infanzia. Attraverso varie ricerche ho potuto costatare quante svariate riletture ne siano state invece fatte nel corso della storia che va dalla sua nascita ai giorni nostri: si procede da una lettura psicanalitica ispirata dalla nascente figura di Freud, che assegna a determinati personaggi delle particolari patologie; all’analisi linguistica e logica che pone il racconto nella sfera del non-sense e dei giochi di parole; ad una rilettura fisico - matematica che vede nella fiaba dei caratteristici riferimenti alle nuove scoperte in atto; infine da un punto di vista sociologico che rivisita l’intero racconto come un saggio storico che svela l’attenta satira, mascherata da parodia, della società borghese vittoriana.

Una fiaba che dunque non si limita ad essere riservata esclusivamente ai piccoli.
La mia idea è quella di sviluppare un allestimento per una mostra che indaghi sugli aspetti nascosti dei personaggi principali del romanzo, creando per ognuno di loro un ambiete che riesca a ricondurre immediatamente la mente del visitatore al personaggio, che verrà quindi descritto anche tramite l’allestimento e non solo attraverso le parole.

There are stories that you met when you are only children and that they accompany us throughout life , always the same , yet different . Initially the book "Alice in Wonderland " in his first publication in 1865 , was considered nothing more than a work of fiction for children, therefore labeled as literature of childhood. Through some research I was able to see how many different interpretations they were instead made in the course of history ranging from its inception to the present day : it proceeds from a psychoanalytical reading inspired by the rising figure of Freud , which assigns to certain characters of particular diseases ; all ' linguistic analysis and logic that sets the story in the sphere of non-sense and word games, to reread physical - mathematical sees in the tale of the characteristic references to new discoveries in place, and finally from a sociological point of view that revisits the ' entire narrative as a historical essay that reveals the careful satire disguised as a parody of the Victorian bourgeois society .

A fairy tale which is therefore not limited to being exclusively reserved for the little ones.
My idea is to develop an exhibition that investigates hidden aspects of the main characters of the novel, creating for each of them an environment that is able to immediately bring the mind of the visitor to the character, which is then also described by the space and not just through words.
