I photographed nature every day in 2013. Although the subjects were often minute, the photographs felt large; a testament to nature’s scalability. Ancient chasms formed within decomposing bark and green stalks became towering vessels of light. Small things often go unnoticed; trampled underfoot or hidden below eye level. Pausing to capture these details revealed hidden beauty in nature’s design. Within the finite, one perceives the infinite. A small portion of the photographs is presented here.
