This is the first of two projects I shot in Maine over the holiday break. The assignment for myself was to take a brand and create a mood spec spot that didn't include any dialogue.
Luckily I was staying close to the coast and several interesting locations which made it easy to capture some amazing footage. Even if I was extremely cold while doing it. The following day after the storm, the sky opened up and it was just gorgeous.
This change in weather was what inspired the structure of the spot. I wanted to shed light on the idea that The Weather Channel is always there for their users, whether the forecast is good or "ugly".
