NIKE were running a competition where you had to use elements of Dubai and also show feelings of achievement.

The idea behind my artwork was to showcase Dubai as a "trophy". I think what Dubai has achieved over such a short time makes it a winner in itself

The upper part of the trophy is an inverted Burj Al Arab, the horses form the "handles" of the trophy, ... the Emirates Towers, Burj Khalifa (in between the Emirates towers), Palm Jumeirah and the Atlantis Hotel form the remaining parts. The light trails symbolise both Dubai's expanding roads and the glitz and glamour of the city.

The light trails above the upper part of the "trophy" also form something resembling a Greek crown which represents achievement.
