When I was buying reclaimed wood for other projects I found this beautiful old window frame. It had several layers of paint in different colors. The top layer of paint is cracked and you can see the other layers of color underneath.After this frame was standing around in my studio for several month, I decided to build a sideboard around it, using the window frame as the front. All the wood I used to build it, is reclaimed wood from the old town of Shanghai, same as the frame itself. For the shelving inside and side and top, I used old flooring. Shelves, top and side are varnished, the rest I left untreated.
