Over Bank Holiday in May (the one where no royal family members were married) I travelled down to London to go to the Design Museum. It was there that I saw the Wim Crouwel exhibiton - A Graphic Odyssey. This was my first real exposure to Crouwel's work, I'd seen bits of poster work and the stamps he shows in Helvetica but not much more. The exhibition was brilliant, some amazing work on show and it left me truly inspired.
While I was there I saw a children's competition to design a poster for the exhibition. At the time I was looking for extra work to do over the summer and I thought that it sounded like an excellent brief to do for a bit of fun. So below is the end result, and for the record I didn't enter it into the competition.
