Wij Zullen Doorgaan is a temporary exhibition in Het Dolhuys, National Museum of Psychiatry, which shows how people cope with getting older. In the year 2011, 230.000 people in the Netherlands will be at the age 65. Reaching and going across this age limit
will raise all kinds of personal questions: what will be my future? Getting older: a curse or a blessing?
The exhibiton displays works of artists and personal stories about older people. The space is filled with a variety of pictures, films, objects and audio stories. The exhibition can be viewed by sitting on exceptional long couch of 12 meters, wich is placed in the middle of the exhibition room. It allows (older) people to sit, look and experience the art in a special and pleasant way.
Open to the public from August 4th 2011 until March 4th 2012
