This big eyed adorable white creature is based off of the creatures in the movie, The Gremlins. I chose to create a gremlin creature, because this represents my dog, Pearla. She is a white pekingese, I visualize my dog similar to a gremlin, because of her flat snout, and huge round eyes. Besides the gremlin, here are four more subjects in this artwork that represents me. The whole theme of the room is Indian styled, because I adore the beautiful vibrant colors that India is known for, and I would love to visit there on day. For an interior design for an Indian themed room, consists usually with bold vibrant colors, huge colorful pillows with many different patterns layered on it, and great attention to details; such as unique beading. Next to the bed is beautiful long soft peacock feathers flowing out of a vase. I admire the unique designs that a peacock feather naturally display. Focusing back on the gremlin, she haves a purple bow on her head. I made the bow on her head purple, because that has been my favorite color since I was a kid. Also in her hands is a stuffed animal, a panda bear. The panda bear represents a panda bear that was given to me as my first gift. I was given that when I was born in the hospital, and I still have it. This artwork was created all in Photoshop. I was able to form shapes by using the lasso tool to create selections, and then applying paint softly with the brush tool; and placing everything together.
