- Where Are My Shuttlecocks? is a map that directs the user from the Graphic Design department building at KCAI to the shuttlecocks at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri. The two are within a walking distance from each other, but there are multiple ways to get there. The objective of the project is to create a poetic experience that will inform the user about his or her surroundings and becomes an object they will keep after the journey is complete.
I illustrated the key places in the journey and where they are on the map. The hand-generated type that I used suggests someone taking notes along the way. The map provides information about the history of the neighborhood and interesting facts about the life there.
