"Whatdo you want to be when you grow up?"
Most people will either have been asked this question will ask this question at somestage in their life. As a child I remember saying I want to be a doctor,although I can't remember the reasons for this I guess I would say that theywould be similar to the ones given by the group of 10/11-year-olds that Iasked. E.g. wanting to help other people, for the money, etc.Thepoint being that I'm not a doctor nor is it likely that I ever will be and fromasking other people it is apparent that many people do not end up in thecareer's that they envisioned themselves being in as a child. I wanted to keep the entire project anonymous hence the names on the answers given by the children have been removed and in the portraits the faces havebeen left out of the shot. The reason being that few people really know whatthey want to be when they are younger and that any one of these children could in theory end up in any one of these careers regardless of their current aspirations.
