Combining my graphic design and woodworking knowledge, I created this finger joint box. I made the sides into a box, then cut the lid off to create an untraditional box. I made the sides concave to add to teh disjointed feel to a four-sided object with a lid. The hinges are also placed at a perpendicular position to the bottom, with the cut through it at an angle, allowing the lid to open properly. So by looking at any side of the box, you would think that there is nothing irregular about it. I added my stencil of the definition to add to the normalcy of a functioning abject.
