What if Photoshop had never been created...?
Since the creation of photoshop, the word "photographer" has lost its meaning. People have forgotten the origins of the camera. Cameras capture light.
Especially in the world of advertising, people rely heavily on the use of computer programs to create images that are an impossible reality. While the images are eye catching, they remain a post-process artwork that does not display the product in its natural form.
In the creation of our advertising book we have taken an approach that has been long forgotten. An approach based solely on the product and control of light. We have adapted techniques that we use in our gallery work to create an environment around the products. Because everything in the photo is 100 percent real, the photos have a look that allows the viewer to visualize the product as it is in real life. Each pixel shown in these pictures is exactly as the photo was taken. No montage, no effects, just reality and play on light.
When we are given a product, we look at its shape, texture, and lines and display that product in our reality, a reality that still remains REAL.
