What The Fork?! App

This was a 3rd year University project. I wanted to modernise the cookbook, so created an app that would make cooking and dining an easier, more interesting experience. Having been to restaurants where I have been confused by foreign terminology, or heard others struggling to pronounce dishes, I have often thought how useful it would be to have a pocket food-dictionary! With the rise of digital technology, apps are the new books/games/menus/shops, so having an app to help with deciphering menus would be the best way to modernise the cookbook. Below are visualisations showing the process of using the app.

Additional note: The visuals for the actual phone itself are not mine. I downloaded a kit from a website, which I believe is allowing them to be used for free and without credit. If this is not true, and you own the rights to the original artwork, please contact me and I will credit you.
Additinally, the photograph of the churros is not by me. If you are the photographer of this image, please contact me and I shall credit you accordingly.
The icon for the app, shown on the App Store/Google Play etc.
The app shown in an online purchasing/downloading setting, on the user's phone. and the homepage when the app is opened.
The two potential that could be shown based on the user's selection of either 'search by food type' or 'search by cuisine' on the homepage. The visual on the far right shows the appearance of the page when one of the options is selected.
These pages show the results of clicking one of the previous pages, or the user utilising the search bar on he homepage. The visual on the far right shows the appearance of the page when one of the explanations is touched/tapped on the definition pages. The definition pages give a pronunciation guide, country of origin and brief description of each food item or culinary method. The pop-up page provides a larger view of this alongside a photograph of the item.
