What Not To Say Campaign

What Not To Say

What Not To Say is a campaign that coincides with Mental Health Awareness Week. It aims to reduce the stigma that surrounds depression by challenging individuals to reassess their own approach to the illness.

A series of large format prints ironically present unhelpful phrases that sufferers regularly encounter when depression is openly discussed*. The additional reflective posters encourage visitors to interact and show their support in the fight to de-stigmatise depression. Individuals upload their selfies onto social media using the hashtag #WhatNotToSay. Support Selfies are then collated onto a live-updated wall on their website.
