Redesigned the pre-existing WVU research office website to two major research websites, one of them being the WVU Research portal website presented here. This website is focused on general research information, showcasing highlights of research conducted at the West Virginia University, with information, events, resources and links relevant to researchers, faculty, graduate students, policy makers and public. The new websites have more traffic, are user friendly with visual appeal, easy to navigate and explore; have a logical hierarchy, more features, resources and content than the earlier website; have news presented in interactive blog formats; have important compiled information that were scattered among other research sites and provide easy jumping off points to other WVU and research resources.
Continually improved upon the research website to its current form by updating information, adding more resources, adding more interactivity, validating the code, search engine optimization, improving accessibility compliance and redesigning to fit the new branding and identity of West Virginia University.
My Role: Research of other universites' research and research office websites, concept, art-direction, design, architecture, coding, posting and maintenance of content and graphics.
