Type treatments of Helen Brown's "West Coast Cook Book". The first treatment, rendered entirely on the computer, uses a blend of playful typography and bold graphics to illustrate the title. For the second treatment (created entirely by hand), I used native west coast spices, such as garlic, cinnamon, and curry powder, to create a unique typographic illustration.
