Website DesignClient: Banks Island Gold, Vancouver.
Project Background: Banks island Gold had just acquired a large tract on land that they believed housed a sizable portion of gold. There present website was full of content but it was well hidden under a poor design that wasn't intuitive to navigate or extract information from. They wanted to attract new investors, present the financials and fact sheet information on the property in a friendly way and they wanted their presence online to look confident and present.
Goal:To create a highly intuitive and functional website that presents relevant information to potential investors in a quick yet pleasing format. The focus here was a confident visual and a slick efficient user experience that was designed to allow the client update teh site through a proprietary CMS.
Process:I stripped back the content from the homepage focusing on what the investor needs. Through wireframe sketching and low fidelity prototyping I presented what I thought was the most useful information from the homepage. This included a 'Features panel', 'Stock quote panel', and 'Latest news' update panel. I also incorporated an RSS subscribe and email subscribe button so Investors get pushed information.
