This project was to create a proprietary tool for aiding art personnel in populating the intranet database with image thumbnails of company-managed artwork. While some conceptually-similar tools or techniques exist which help automate batch raster file output, this script for Adobe Illustrator consolidates all user operations to one touch, and allows some advanced screening options. With this batch exporting process the user has options to choose from a list of filetypes to process, choice of folders to access and even the ability to eliminate up to 3 categories of files based on their names.
