THE BRIEF
Every year Standard Bank holds an Economic roadshow where they present a forecast of the economy for the year ahead, hosted by Goolam Balim (Chief Economist for Standard Bank). However for the 2012 roadshow in February we were asked to theme the event, instead of giving the event a theme based on the years forecast.
THE SOLUTION
Standard Bank uses about 60 research analysts worldwide who collaborate to give an accurate prediction the state of both the World and Africa's economy. So we came up the a idea of 'We vs Me' (The Power of Collective Intelligence) showing the strength of the collective versus the individual. This concept would work under the Corporate & Investment brand big idea of the 'Power of and'.
We brought to life the power of "We vs Me" in a humorous, quirky and light-hearted way, focussing on a strong narrative and human connection.
