I designed this poster just to honour, respect, and show appreciation of all women in our country.
It features in the main image - Sophia Williams one of the leaders of the 9 August 1959 Women's March
to the union buildings...The heading at the top means "you strike women, you have struck a rock" they
sang this song in protest as they marched through the streets. (SA History)
