For the ‘We can Boogie’ project, I decided to design myself the typeface instead of using any 70’s themed one, as it would give more freedom to the design.
It also helped to make clear that it wasn’t a themed party, but actually a very contemporary and urban event.
The curly details are purely inspired by the Disco fashion.
It is inspired by the 70’s, but very contemporary.
In the end, the type was used on the logo, but I think the additional material on which it was applied is too good not to be shared. Read Less
