I wrote and produced this series of three ads for Denver Community Credit Union with the goal of achieving visibility among urban males age 18-34. I had the concept for the ad and preliminary copy within hours of the directive, but with my limited budget, I was not able to hire a professional designer.
My search led to youtube, where I searched for kinetic typography projects that might appeal to the demo, and when I found Jeff Smith-Luedke, I knew there was a match. Jeff helped edit the copy down to 30 seconds and within weeks, we had three completed projects.
The popularity of the videos exploded, and within hours, each had over 1,000 views. The projects have been featured on national radio and on thefinancialbrand.com - the most visited industry website. The projects' success culminated with the Marketing Association of Credit Union's "Social Media Superstar Award" in 2011.
