Role: Art Direction, Design and Production
Ward 4 is a section of Washington, DC that is undergoing revitalization and expansion from a residential space into a more diverse mix of development, retail and residential. Our firm was brought on to create a brochure-style report that would appeal to people interested in investing in all those areas, whether individual homeowners or large developers looking to build in the city.
We divided the 24-page brochure into three sections, one for each audience. The following pages each highlight a success story in a specific neighborhood of the Ward. The brochure was expanded into a suite of materials, including a website and a smaller trifold brochure that would be more cost-effective for wide distribution. The city councilmember for the Ward was so impressed with the materials that our firm was retained to redesign her personal website to better align with the Ward's new brand.
